BOTOX BEAUTY CARE and BOTOX as a treatment for chronic pain

Botox treatments will they really work for you? Beauty treatments Nottingham UK. The cost of Botox, how much does Botox treatment cost and how long will the effects of Botox treatment last.

If you’re thinking of having Botox treatments for the lines and wrinkes on your face, it is always advised to tell your doctor, just in case there are medical reasons why Botox treatment is not for you!

In the UK there are many beauty clinics offering Botox treatments.

The cost of a Botox treatment can range from 200-400 pounds, so the cost of Botox treatments is far less expensive than it was a few years ago and could take years off the look of your face.

The Botox will be injected directly into muscles around the lines of your face, how this Botox injection works is by blocking the nerves that appear to cause these stress or age lines.

How long will your Botox treatment actually work?

Well, one Botox treatment should last up to 4 months, so the cost of 200-400 pounds can cost at little as 50-200 per month, that does depend on which beauty salon you choose to have your Botox injection at, and the cost at your local beautician salon!

Obviously, it almost goes without saying, that you should check out the credentials of the beautician applying these Botox injections, one bad move and you will have to live with the results for 4 months!

Can Botox be used for other reasons?

Yes, Botox can be used to help chronic pain. When I injured my cervical spine (neck muscles), I received Botox injections.

Did Botox help my chronic pain?

Yes, when the hospital injected Botox into the muscles in my neck and upper shoulder muscles, I felt pain relief for around 4-5 months at a time. Howevers, as the Botox began wearing off, the pain that I was no longer used to, returned with a vengeance!

I have also since been advised, that long term Botox usage, could result in long term damage, therefore, I have stopped my Botox treatments and instead take a more herbal remedy known as Milgamma N, plus regularly do stretching exercises and muscle strengthening exercises, and these exercises are actually also helping the lines in my 50 year old face! Bonus!

    Will Botox treatments hurt?

When the doctor or beautician inject the Botox into the muscles of your face, no doubt you will feel a little prick, howevers, the mild pain should wear off in 3-5 days

How soon will I notice the effects of Botox working?

It does depend on the severity of your wrinkles, but within the week you, or probably your friends, will begin noticing the difference!

Plus considering Botox treatments can work for up to 4 months, it’s a small discomfort!

    Botox treatments for pain.

When I received my Botox injections for my chronic pain, I found that the next week was extremely painful, as were the initial injections.

The hospital administering my injections, were kind, caring and very patient with me while I screamed my head off in agony!

Why did I feel so much pain having my Botox injections?

I believe it was because they had to inject straight into muscles and nerves that were already in chronic severe pain.

But the effect that ensued, after the initial pain subsided, were well worth this initial pain!

I felt like a new woman!

Would I advise Botox injection treatments for chronic pain?

Yes for sure I would, they helped me to help myself. Howevers I personally wouldn’t recommend these Botox injections for long term treatment, unless unavoidable of course, I would recommend them as a way to get past the chronic pain and onto a more healthy exercise regime!

Simple neck exercises have helped my chronic pain and I would not have been able to move my neck without Botox injections and the treatment effect Botox has for chronic pain.

Check out your local beauty salon offering Botox injections and perhaps pay a visit to your doctor, not only to ensure you are a suitable candidate for Botox injections, but your doctor may offer the same treatment at a less expensive cost to you too
